Chinese May Have Used Underage Gymnasts, Nobody Is Shocked

In an announcement that surprised absolutely no one, the International Gymnastics Federation said today that China should lose its bronze medal in Women’s Gymnastics from the 2000 Olympics for using an underage gymnast.

↵The only shocking part about this is that it took them ten years to figure out what anybody who watched the games already knew: there is no way all of the Chinese gymnasts were the required 16 years old.

↵No word on which member was allegedly too young, but I doubt anyone would be surprised if it was any of them. Just look at them!

↵They should be playing with dolls still!

↵Just imagine seeing one of these girls behind the wheel of a car!?! There is no way that is legal/safe/a cop buys any of their fake IDs.

↵The IOC did, however. And until today, almost ten years after the closing ceremonies in Sydney, so did the International Gymnastics Federation.

↵Now mark my words, come 2018, those gold medalists from the Beijing Olympics will lose their gold too.
