Indianapolis Schools Opening Late On Super Bowl Monday

Indianapolis public schools, capitulating to human nature, have instituted a two-hour delay for Monday, in an attempt to avoid a repeat of the Colts’ last Super Bowl trip and its effect on civic productivity:

↵In 2007, IPS was forced to cancel classes the day after the Super Bowl because too many bus drivers did not pick up children.
↵New Orleans is formulating a similar contingency plan to allow for its drunkest elementary and middle school students to take a half day.
