The answer, apparently, is yes. Saturday’s Pittsburgh-Seton Hall game is still a go for launch, but the Big East Network has announced that it will not be there to slap it on television.
Does A Big East Game Happen If No One Is Around To Televise It?
↵↵ESPN Regional Television (ERT) has had to cancel this evening’s “Big East Network” production of the Seton Hall at Pittsburgh game scheduled for 6 p.m. (ET) tonight. Although the game is still scheduled to be played, the weather and road conditions throughout the area prohibit ERT from assembling production facilities and personnel in a timely fashion to originate a telecast.
↵↵This is understandable, since Pittsburgh, like most of the region, looks like a snow globe. SB Nation, though, is here to help. We’ll pick up the slack with crudely-drawn illustrations and fantastical stories. Pittsburgh will win, 202-198, in eleven overtimes. Motorcycles and dragons will be involved.
