Nationals: The Nats made their first round of cuts today. Victor Garate, Logan Kensing, Joel Peralta and Ryan Speier, Jerry Owens, and top prospect Derek Norris were sent to minor league camp. Veteran relievers Shawn Estes and “Everyday” Eddie Guadardo received unconditional releases…Stephen Strasburg will pitch for a second time this Sunday…C Will Nieves is out with the flu…Livan Hernandez is still around.
