Jonathan Quick Leaves Team To Be At Birth Of Son

Jonathan Quick has had a fairly busy past month. First, he rode the bench in Vancouver as the third goaltender for Team USA. Now, he has left the Kings to be there for the birth of his first child. The team has called up Jonathan Bernier from the Manchester Monarchs, the Kings AHL Affiliate.

↵Quick has been a major part of Los Angeles’ success this season, and his short absence from the team should not affect the Kings playoff run.
