Lance Berkman Set To Return Tuesday Night
Slugger Lance Berkman, who underwent minor surgery on his knee early in March, is due to return to the Astros, according to Bernardo Fallas:
Berkman appeared in two games for AAA Round Rock, delivering two doubles and a homer in six at bats. His power and overall production has been sorely missed by an Astros offense that, to date, has been almost indescribably terrible. Houston, as a team, has hit .215/.240/.285, posting a lower OPS than Juan Uribe’s slugging percentage.

Berkman injured the knee early in camp, but had been attempting to play through it, appearing in five Grapefruit League contests. However, the knee remained swollen even after having fluid drained from it multiple times.
The surgery, which will be performed sometime in the coming days, will remove some loose particles from Berkman’s knee and is expected to keep him sidelined for 2-4 weeks.
