Dodgers third base coach Larry Bowa was rushed to the hospital tonight with stomach pain:
Larry Bowa Rushed To Hospital
Bowa, described alternately as feeling “stomach cramps” and “abdominal pain,” was in Banner Estrella Hospital in late afternoon, undergoing examinations by the Dodgers’ team physician, Kenneth Landis.
Interim manager Don Mattingly did not think the situation was serious. He said Bowa “felt pain during the whole game” before finally leaving Camelback Ranch.
The Dodgers are expected to update the media on Bowa’s, 64, condition as soon as it is available.
