Maybe he’s a fan of post-apocalyptic settings, or he and his agent are just saying the right thing, but Ndamukong Suh seems to have enjoyed his visit to the Motor City last week.
Suh visits Detroit, enjoys himself
"Very nice facility, coaches and owner here in Detroit, def will have to say I did enjoy my trip," Suh wrote on his Twitter page.
Suh was in Detroit for nearly two full days getting interviewed and likely having a medical evaluation performed.
Talking to the Mike O'Hara Sports, Suh's agent Roosevelt Barnes said the Nebraska defensive tackle "really liked" Lions defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham.
“He just felt really good about the whole visit,” Barnes told O’Hara.
For Suh to become a Lion, the Rams will have to pass on him. Although the current sentiment is that St. Louis is going to take Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford first overall, it's no lock just yet.
It’s also no lock that Detroit could take Suh if he’s there. The team could seek a trade, or possibly even select offensive tackle Russell Okung, whom they’ve considerable interest in.
