↵I really don’t like Brandon as a person. I just think he’s disrespecful. He’s really arrogant. I think he’s full of himself... He’s a talker, and I guess I let his arrogance got under my skin a little bit.
Jon Jones Does Not Like Brandon Vera
↵Some (including Bloody Elbow’s Kid Nate) are questioning if the weigh-in confrontation between Brandon Vera and Jon Jones showed a crack in Jones’ supposedly unflappable maturity. Personally, I think it was good old fashioned fight hype. It was the kind of shoving match and “personal dislike” that always seems to crop up between two fighters when it’s time to start drawing in viewers.
