↵- Jeremy Botter tweets that Vera suffered major facial injuries in his fight with Jon Jones.
↵In my post-fight recap of the fight I said that his eye socket appeared broken, and that looks to be the case. It makes much more sense for there to have been an injury than Vera just quitting after getting hit. Brandon is nothing if not durable and for him to roll over after getting hit by an elbow was shocking to see.
