There’s been a lot of talk recently about Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s relationship, or lack thereof, with the UFC.
‘Rampage’ Jackson Reportedly Signs Six-Fight Contract Extension With The UFC
↵The talk has gone so far as to suggest that “Rampage” could retire from fighting, this time permanently.
↵But word from Riddum.com, and subsequently Dana White during a Q & A in Toronto yesterday, leads us to believe that the former Pride FC and UFC light heavyweight champion is sticking around. And for a long time.
↵↵“Rampage and I [White] are friends again now. I was mad at him because of what he’s done, and he was mad at me because I was mad at him... We just renewed Rampage’s contract. It’s a 6 fight contract.”
↵↵At this point though, it’s difficult to believe any report -- unless the photo copy of the signed contract is attached to it -- that has something to do with Jackson because the guy has just been all over the place lately.
↵Considering that, here’s to hoping this news is indeed factual as “Rampage” is as great of a personality, as he is a talent.
