Around AL Central Spring Training, 3/25: Has Dontrelle Willis Returned?

Royals: Angst and anxiety continue to swirl around Gil Meche and his shoulder, which the pitcher seems determined to injure. Well, it’s all good, the Royals do have Kyle Farnsworth to fall back on. Mitch Maier, despite being a favorite of the Royals blogosphere, is fighting for a backup spot.

Indians: Fangraphs evaluates the current and future talent in Cleveland. Remember when signing Fausto Carmona to a long-term, “lock-up” contract was seen as a brilliant move?

Tigers: Dontrelle Willis continues to pitch well this month, reminding many that he is still alive. Adam Everett, meanwhile, is hitting just .069 for the spring, which is bad, even for him. Still, he’s not concerned.

Twins: Minnesota outfielder Ben Revere is opening eyes with his play. Kevin Slowey is once again solid on the mound.

White Sox: If the White Sox let Ozzie Guillen design the lineup, the result, according to South Side Sox, will be UGLY. Matt Thronton, who figures the setup man for the Sox, continues to feel better.
