Henrik Lundqvist Is Effing Displeased

New York Rangers net minder Henrik Lundqvist wasn’t in the mood to sugar-coat things in his post-game interview last night in Toronto. Lundqvist was at fault when Tomas Kaberle banked a shot from behind the goal line off of his leg to tie the game with just over three and a half minutes left in regulation.

↵The Swede took a page out of head coach John Tortorella’s book of angry interviews.

↵The Rangers are tenth in the Eastern Conference and four points behind the eighth-seeded Philadelphia Flyers. Unlike his coach, Lundqvist opted not to use the water bottle he had at his disposal for violent purposes. Good choice, because that will probably be better suited for when New York is officially eliminated from playoff contention and the reporters ask them how they feel.
