According to reports, President Barack Obama will throw out the first pitch in next week’s Opening Day game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Washington Nationals. And while having Obama on hand will certainly lend a certain sex appeal to the proceedings, let’s take this a step further. Especially since Obama’s visit to Nationals park will likely be the high point of the Nats’ 2010 season, why not go all out and put him in the President’s Race?

↵Seriously. Somebody at the Nationals needs to order a giant Obama head, put together an awesome suit for the body, and have Barack be the first actual president to run the Nationals’ lone tradition, the seventh inning Presidents’ race. Who would be against this?
