The rematch between Stephan Bonnar and Krzysztof Sosynski has been agreed upon to take place at UFC 116 on July 3 from Las Vegas, Nevada. Bonnar confirmed the news in an interview with MMA Fighting over the weekend.

The fight had been rumored to take place at The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale in June.
A rematch between the two TUF vets is of course necessary after what went down at UFC 110 in late February. Soszynski was awarded a TKO victory after an inadvertent head butt opened a deep cut on Bonnar's forehead which led to the fight being stopped. The referee was under the false impression that a punch or elbow caused the damage.
But, as should be the case, the two fighters will get the chance to settle the score later this summer.
