Shortly after the start of free agency on Friday morning Lions head coach Jim Schwartz pulled a Rex Ryan and showed up at Kyle Vanden Bosch's house to recruit him to the Lions.

The former Tennessee Titans defensive end agreed to a four-year contract with the Lions on Friday morning.
Vanden Bosch joins Corey Williams on a much-improved Lions defensive line.
The contract, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, is worth $26 million.
Vaneden Bosch, 31, was originally a second round draft pick by the Cardinals in 2001. He spent three years in Arizona before moving onto the Titans where he had at least 12 sacks on two occasions.
