Want To Make Brian Cashman Cringe? Tell Him This Carl Pavano Fact

Carl Pavano was the starting pitcher for today’s Twins game in brand new Target Field. He earned the victory. Now here’s the best part:

↵

↵

#Twins Carl Pavano now has as many wins at Target Field as he did at Yankee Stadium over the first 3 years of his #Yankees contract.

↵

↵Luckily for the Yankees, Pavano won four games in 2008, the last year of his contract. Three of those were at home. Basically, the Yankees gave Pavano $27 million from 2005-2007 for one victory at Yankee Stadium. He’s being paid $7 million by the Twins this season.

↵And we call that a deal.
