Edmonton Oilers Win NHL Draft Lottery, Get Number One Pick

The Edmonton Oilers have won the NHL Draft Lottery, and will retain the number one pick in the 2010 NHL Draft. The top five picks in the 2010 NHL Draft are as such:

1. Edmonton Oilers

2. Boston Bruins

3. Florida Panthers

4. Columbus Blue Jackets

5. New York Islanders

This now sets up the debate for who the Oilers will take with the number one pick. The decision is between Taylor Hall from the Windsor Spitfires and Tyler Seguin from the Plymouth Whalers. Arguments from both sides will rage until June 25, the date of 2010 NHL Draft.
