Ray Mercer And Bobby Green Removed From King of the Cage Card

Friday’s King of the Cage card from Detroit, Michigan has undergone a few changes. First of all KotC 160 pound champion Bobby Green has been removed from the card due to an injury. Also, Ray Mercer has been pulled from the card after also sustaining an injury.

↵This is an unfortunate turn of events as it was going to be very interesting to see how Mercer did in another MMA bout after scoring his shocking upset over former UFC champion Tim Sylvia. Mercer was slated to face Ron Sparks in a bout where Sparks was the favorite.

↵The event is still headlined by Jake Rosholt vs, Jeremy Horn in what is a very compelling middleweight scrap.

↵The King of the Cage card will air on HDNet at 10:00pm EDT this Friday.
