Who Would You Rather Have: Braves Trio vs. Rockies Trio

Andrew Fisher from our Colorado Rockies blog, Purple Row, emailed me to inform me of an interesting discussion that took place last night during the Braves-Rockies game over at the our Braves blog, Talking Chop.

The question: who would you rather have? Rockies trio Ubaldo Jimenez, Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez. or Braves trio Tommy Hanson, Yunel Escobar and Jason Heyward?

That’s a very interesting question as the best player is Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki, but at some point Jason Heyward may have something to say about that. Right now, I would say Ubaldo and Hanson are pretty even, but the Rockies have the better SS and outfielder at this point. But, I like Yunel Escobar as he has the power to hit 20 HRs at some point, and he hits in the middle of the Braves lineup, as does Tulowitzki for the Rockies.

Who would you rather have?
