Kobe Bryant Signs Three-Year, $90 Million Contract Extension With Lakers
Well, so much for that, because Bryant has signed a three-year maximum contract extension with the Lakers, according to the team. Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski says the contract is worth approximately $90 million, meaning Bryant will earn the league’s highest salary when it takes effect in 2011/12.
Bryant is eligible to receive $27.4 million in 2011/12, $30 million in 2012/13 and $32.6 million in 2013/14, according to Fanhouse’s Tom Ziller.
