Carter Scores Two, Leads Flyers To 4-1 Win, Commanding Series Lead Over New Jersey

Martin Brodeur has had a rather excellent career. There’s no hiding that he’s in his twilight years, but to say the guy doesn’t still have The Touch would be premature. Exhibit A, from Tuesday night’s Flyers-Devils Game 4:

Philadelphia won the game, 4-1, but it’s tough to blame Brodeur to that.

The Flyers played quite well in their Game 3 win against New Jersey on Sunday. They can put themselves in a position to close out the series later this week with a win over the Devils again tonight. According to SBN’s Broad Street Hockey, they can achieve that goal by doing the same things right on Tuesday night in Philadelphia.
