    Nevada’s Luke Babbitt Declares For NBA Draft, Signs With Agent

    The 6’8”, 215-pound Babbitt was one of the few fringe first-round picks who had not declared for the draft, and his decision to not only put his name in, but sign with an agent seems to indicate he knows some teams at the end of the first round are interested. ESPN’s Chad Ford highlighted Babbitt as one of the last “big” names still on the fence, and said:

    Ford currently ranks Babbitt as the 35th-best prospect in this class, while Draft Express has him 41st and NBADraft.net puts him 30th. Babbitt’s smooth shooting stroke, especially for a big, make him an appealing prospect, although his marked lack of athleticism limits his upside.
