There are a few baseball fundamentals that you learn at the age of five, during your first little league baseball practice:

↵Well, Fordham’s Brian Kownacki was obviously sick that day because he has a very different approach to sliding into home than the boring one we all learned back in the day.

↵Maybe this is what we should be teaching our kids. It’s at least a lot more entertaining than the ground-oriented slides, be they head or feet-first, that we’ve been pushing on them.
