Broken Wrist Will Sideline Jeff Mathis Through The End Of May
The Angels put [Mathis] on the disabled list — he is expected to be out at least six weeks — and recalled utility man Robb Quinlan from triple-A Salt Lake.
Many will argue that the Angels are actually better off as a result of this injury, as Mike Napoli swings a powerful bat, but Mike Scioscia would certainly disagree with that sentiment.
