Finally, Jimmy Clausen was taken in the 2010 NFL Draft. He went 48th overall to the Carolina Panthers. That was one of the more "normal" picks of the second round.

The Browns surprised by picking Oregon safety TJ Ward. Miami went with Koa Misi instead of Sergio Kindle as a pass rusher. Buffalo went with Torell Troup over Linval Joseph to play nose tackle.
Oakland continued a great draft, to everyone’s surprise. And, of course, New England made a coup selecting tight end Rob Gronkowski.
But in a draft where the unexpected has come to be expected, I guess we can’t be too shocked.
