Eric Belanger of the Washington Capitals took a stick to the face from Canadiens defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron in game five. Where you and I would gladly accept gauze or a pain-free medicine, he decided to take care of a loose tooth quickly by himself.

↵From twitter, it’s been confirmed that the center has seven less teeth than what he started out with yesterday. Yeah, I’d say Belanger is a worthy competitor for playoff hockey.
