Jordin Tootoo Wouldn’t Miss Game Five For The World

Continuing with our trend of postseason toughness, Nashville Predators agitator Jordin Tootoo required 45 stitches and some plastic surgery on his face after teammate Cody Franson’s shot caught him up high on Thursday. Missing Friday’s practice because of a checkup appointment, one could easily assume his absence to be lengthy. No dice, as he’s expected to be ready for game five on Saturday.

↵From The Tennessean:

↵↵“I’m told he’s fine,” Coach Barry Trotz said. “They wanted to check him again after getting stitched up … The plastic surgeon did a real good job. They said he was fine and didn’t have any headaches or anything like that. He should be fine. From all reports I expect him to be ready to go tomorrow.”

↵↵With their series against the Chicago Blackhawks tied at two games apiece, Tootoo will be looking to get under the skin of anyone and everyone.
