2010 NFL Draft: Joe Webb Becomes A Viking

UAB’s Joe Webb was drafted in the 6th round by the Vikings.

Webb was just three years old when the Vikings starter, Brett Favre, came into the league.

SB Nation’s Mocking The Draft runs down his scouting report:

Webb could be yet another Wildcat quarterback candidate. He’s a good all-around athlete and makes a lot of plays with his legs. Plays in a gimmick offense. Will throw too many passes into coverage. Has played wide receiver and that may be his better position in the NFL.

SB Nation’s Daily Norseman reacts to MTD’s scouting report:

Wow. . .certainly not the most encouraging scouting report you’d ever want to hear. Apparently at his Pro Day, he did work out as a wide receiver.
