Roberto Luongo reached 40 wins for the second time with the Vancouver Canucks this year and won himself an Olympic gold medal to boot. But when the playoffs are mentioned, that game six meltdown against the Chicago Blackhawks in 2009 seems to still follow him. ↵At one point, the Canucks were outshot 26-11 by the Los Angeles Kings in game six. Suffice it to say, Luongo stole the win for Vancouver and in the process, advanced them to the next round. As delightful as that is, let’s not start planning the Stanley Cup parade route just yet.
