Beckett Roughed Up, But Sox Get Him Off The Hook With Offensive Explosion
“I never had a chance to settle down,” Beckett said. “I threw 80-something pitches in three innings. It was a frustrating night.”
“My changeup was better than it was last time, but I did miss with it up,” Eveland. “I threw a few really good ones. The only thing I had really success with was my curveball.”
