LeBron James To Undergo Second MRI On His Injured Elbow
After Game Two of the Cavs-Celtics series, nearly all of us were wondering: Why did it take Mike Brown three quarters to finally play his small lineup? But other than that, the other question on fans’ minds was about LeBron. What was up with him? He wasn’t necessarily bad, but he never took control of the game the way we know he can, and by the time he woke up in the fourth quarter, the Celtics were up by 20.
One explanation? That elbow injury is bothering him more than anyone realizes. Cleveland’s Brian Windhorst reports that LeBron will undergo a second MRI this week. And despite teammates like Mo Williams reassuring media that “he’s fine” and “he doesn’t want to make excuses,” these are the facts. News of the MRI will be taken as either an excuse for his struggles so far, or perhaps, a sign that his elbow is not completely “fine.”
