Everth Cabrera Forced To DL By Strained Hamstring

Cabrera hasn’t played since the 26th, when his hamstring first started barking. Jerry Hairston has started at short in his absence, as his versatility was the reason the Padres brought him in over the winter in the first place. Hairston’s yet to get into a groove, but he’s a serviceable stopgap.
