Injuries continue to ravage the Purdue football team's spring workouts. Today's victim was starting running back Ralph Bolden.
Purdue RB Ralph Bolden Suffers Knee Injury
From Journal & Courier:
Purdue’s football team will be without running back Ralph Bolden for the remainder of the spring and maybe the 2010 season after the junior suffered a significant knee injury.
Bolden injured his right knee during Wednesday’s practice, coach Danny Hope said. It’s the same knee Bolden injured in high school.
Hope didn’t know the nature of Bolden’s injury.
Bolden rushed for 935 yards and nine touchdowns last season, including a 234-yard performance against Toledo in the season opener.
Coach Danny Hope said receiver Keith Carlos will move to running back to provide depth.
Hope also said defensive tackle Nick Mondek has moved to offense and will play tackle during the remainder of spring practice.
