Sorry about the pun there. Really, it was far too easy. Now, to the story:
Thrown Off J-E-T-S: ‘Disruptive’ Santonio Holmes Escorted From Plane
↵↵Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes had to be escorted off a plane Thursday night at Pittsburgh International Airport, investigators said. Investigators said Holmes wasn’t arrested but was escorted off the plane for what they call being a “disruptive passenger.”
↵The plane was docked at Gate D77 when a “disturbance” involving an iPod and refusal to comply with flight crew demands was reported, investigators said.
↵↵There’s nothing worse than traveling these days, and a casual flipout can happen to the best of us. So, even if you’re a millionaire athlete, getting thrown off a plane is pretty brutal. That just sucks.
↵But when it’s not you... God it’s entertaining.
↵Especially since the “disturbance” was definitely because he wouldn’t turn off his iPod. “Nah, miss. Go fly the plane. These beats is KNOCKIN right now.” Oh really, Santonio?
↵And just like that, another life lesson for Mr. Holmes, who’s already seen his fair share of offseason trouble: Never, ever, mess with flight attendants. If they want to, those obnoxiously perky mavens of the sky will ruin your whole life.
