Let’s get Tiger Woods out of the way first. Tiger wrapped up his 2nd day shooting a 2-under 70 and now sits in third place. More importantly, he assured CBS, Nike, The Masters and the PGA that he will almost assuredly be a force this weekend, which means ratings bonanza for all involved.
Masters Tournament Leaderboard, Second Round Afternoon Update: Westwood-Ho!
Woods is joined by K.J. Choi and Ricky Barnes at 6-under. Ian Poulter entered the clubhouse in 2nd place at 8-under.
Lee Westwood continues his assault on all of them and the golf course. Having just birdied the 13th hole, he’s 5-under on the day and 10-under overall. He’s got a chance to put a lot of space between himself and the competition (read: Tiger).
Phil Mickelson sits at 4-under on the 12th hole while Ernie Els sits at 2-under after 13.
