Chael Sonnen Gives Info On WEC Bout With Paulo Filho
↵Most MMA fans remember this as the fight where Filho started to look around the ring and talk to seemingly no one. At various points he would start to look outside of the cage and completely refused to engage. It was clear that Sonnen was confused as to what was going on so he continued to score points without really going for the kill.
↵It’s interesting to hear Sonnen claim that Filho was basically begging to go to the ground. Filho is attempting to come back from addiction and depression problems and still has only lost one bout in his career, but it’s hard to not consider his days as a potential top contender at 185 pounds as over.
