Like a Lot of Us, Keith Hernandez Needs a Nap

On this Monday, like so many others, it’s easy to get a little sleepy at this time of the afternoon. Maybe you overdid it partying or just spent too much time doing work out in the yard. Whatever the case, you’d like to probably put your head down on your desk for a minute and close your eyes. Just don’t fall asleep and let your boss -- or in Keith Hernandez’s case, the producer -- catch you.↵

↵If nothing else, Henry Blanco’s walkoff winner probably woke Hernandez up for his drive home. (Read the AP recap of the game here.)↵↵(H/T to Mets Underground via Big League Stew) ↵

↵↵UPDATE: Something must be going around Major League Baseball. The News Tribune has a story about how Ken Griffey Jr. missed a chance to pinch hit when he fell asleep in the clubhouse. This is doing little to change my view that baseball is best consumed while napping.↵
