Strikeforce And Karo Parisyan Fail To Come To Terms On Contract

↵Former UFC welterweight contender Karo Parisyan (18-5) will not serve the next chapter of his career in Strikeforce; the two sides were unable to come to terms.

↵Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker confirmed the news with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) after a source close to the event said a proposed deal had recently been shelved.
“We had a cup of coffee,” Coker said. “It didn’t work out. “He’s a great kid. We wish him luck.”

↵I’m not really sure where Parisyan goes now. There may be some interest in Karo going to japan and clashing with some of their national judo stars, but with no UFC or Strikeforce career the days of Karo making serious money in MMA may be long gone.
