As with most sports rivalries, the popular conceit of the Kentucky-Louisville rivalry is flawed. If you like Kentucky, Louisville fans will object, and vice versa. But what’s the argument? “No, see, you are wrong. You don’t like that team!” This holds no water, so fans instead move on to flinging ad-hominem attacks at one another.

Among teams outside the SEC willing to provide their GPAs for the fall semester, Duke (3.01), Louisville (3.0) and Kansas (2.95) all outperformed Kentucky.
↵Note: the Louisville basketball team out-GPA’d Kentucky by nearly a full letter grade.
Note: John Wall reportedly posted a GPA of at least 3.0, so clearly some of his teammates dropped the ball. Did Derek DeMarcus Cousins post a negative GPA or something? Did he take the tests, or did the tests take him?!?!?
Note: If you are a Louisville fan and this news delights you, take a moment to reflect on the fact that your growth as an individual has led you to this point, and re-evaluate accordingly. You are only as good as your last ten seconds, friend.
Note: If you are a Kentucky fan, why don’t you go to knowledge school, you dummy? Here’s my impression of you: “doyyy, I don’t know anything. What’s one plus one? I do not know the answer. Doyyy!” (slips on banana peel)
