Boston Bruins forward Marco Sturm possibly concluded his 2010 postseason journey after suffering an unknown injury in Game 1 against the Philadelphia Flyers. The German was looking to finish a check on defenseman Matt Carle in the first period, but was down on all fours shortly afterwards. You can see what happened in the video below.

Although the club hasn’t confirmed his status, he is out for the remainder of the playoffs according to NESN’s James Murphy. Sturm, who hasn’t recorded a point in the postseason yet for Boston, was favoring his right leg as he left the ice.
