‘Shaolin’ To Appeal Decision Loss To Lyle Beerbohm

↵André Pederneiras, Nova União’s leader and the manager Alex Davis will file a lawsuit along with the Athletic Commission, asking them to change the result. “They can’t do that, is absurd, it’s not right. Even if I have to ask the help of a lawyer, I will change this outcome”, says André.

↵↵- Vitor Ribeiro’s manager says they’re going to try to get the decision loss to Lyle Beerbohm overturned

↵It will absolutely go nowhere. Athletic commissions don’t turn over what a fighter or manager feels to be a “bad decision.” It would damage the credibility of the judges if the commission was following behind them to change their decisions. It also was a perfectly defensible win for Beerbohm as he controlled the positioning of the fight.
