Umpire Joe West Fined By MLB After Controversial Ejections

Following Wednesday’s incident, we now know the nature of umpire Joe West’s punishment: he’s been fined, but he’ll be spared a suspension.

Likewise, Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen and pitcher Mark Buehrle, have been fined but not suspended. There’s bound to be a reaction from Sox fans, so for more, head on over to SB Nation’s own South Side Sox.

Ozzie Guillen, as you can imagine, wasn’t too thrilled.

Ozzie, of course, will face disciplinary action for his remarks, but something tells me Ozzie doesn’t care. He’s been fined before, and he’s almost certain to get fined again in the future.
