Jeremy Shockey was hospitalized on Thursday afternoon after having “seizure-like” symptoms in the Saints weight room.

One unnamed Saints player provided details of the account but, according to Shockey on Twitter, he’ll be fine.
I am ok, thanks to everyone who has shown their concern don’t worry about me I will be fine.. WHO DAT!!
This is the second time in a little over a year that this has happened to him. The other was a result of dehydration.
SB Nation’s Canal Street Chronicles also passes along a quote from Saints coach Sean Payton regarding the incident.
“I talked to Jeremy from the hospital and the good news is he’s feeling better and everything looks real good,”
“He’ll likely finish up his tests and spend the night in the hospital. They don’t know if it was dehydration or what. That’s what they’re going through right now. They just want to make sure it’s nothing more significant than that.”
