Report: Facing Sanctions, UConn To Part Ways With Two Assistants

According to ESPN’s Andy Katz, UConn basketball has decided to part ways with two of its basketball assistants in response to a report last year that hinted at recruiting violations, and could end with self-imposed sanctions or, possibly, penalties from the NCAA. From Katz:

Over at SB Nation’s UConn blog, the reactions have been measured, as nothing’s official. “I’m going to hold off from saying too much until the press conference tomorrow,” writes Andrew Porter, “but the two resignations certainly do not bode well for UConn.”
