Andrew Ladd Out For Blackhawks In Game 1

Forward Andrew Ladd will be out of the Chicago Blackhawks lineup in Game 1 as he nurses a shoulder injury. Ladd suffered the injury in Game 4 against the San Jose Sharks in the Western Conference Finals.

Coach Joel Quenneville is optimistic that Ladd will return in the Stanley Cup Finals, but for Game 1, his replacement will be Tomas Kopecky. Kopecky has been a healthy scratch in the last five Blackhawks games, but the Slovak winger does have Cup experience, winning in 2008 with Detroit.
