Stubbs’ leadoff first-inning blast on an outside breaking ball gave the Reds the early 1-0 lead.
The Mets tied the game at one in the second on Francoeur’s RBI single. Davis came around from second to score after lining one to Stubbs, who badly misplayed the ball, allowing it to sail over his head.
