There’s never really been much uniformity when it comes to NHL Draft logos. Usually, they’re just some kind of play off of the logo of the team hosting the event, like the 2007 logo from the Columbus draft or the 2008 logo from the Ottawa draft.

↵But with the unveiling of the 2010 and now the 2011 logos, the NHL seems to be taking aspects of the host city and putting them into a more uniform format. Here’s the logo for this year’s Draft in Los Angeles. Palm trees in the background to represent the host city, but basically a very NHL-styled design.
↵That brings us to 2011, where the Draft will be hosted by the Minnesota Wild.

↵It’s almost identical, really. They changed the shape, color and obviously switched the palm trees to a forest setting, but other than that, it’s the exact same logo right down to the text font.
