Over on The Underground, Strikeforce fighter Lyle “Fancy Pants” Beerbohm posted a message stating that he is looking for a lawyer to get him out of his contract. The number of contractual complaints by Strikeforce fighters has certainly been on the rise over the past few months. There was the obvious issue with Fedor Emelianenko holding out after only one fight, Erin Toughill came out saying she had an issue with her contract, other rumors of various shady negotiations and now this.

↵Beerbohm was scheduled to face Vitor “Shaolin” Ribero at Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery but in the same thread at TG stated that the bout is now in trouble. That’s a shame as the card will have gone from too many legitimate bouts to too few with Beerbohm/Ribero falling through, KID Yamamoto being pulled off the card to fight in DREAM, and Kevin Randleman pulling out of his bout with Roger Gracie.
