    Some things are so inexplicable...well, they defy any attempt at rational explanation (obviously). Game 3 between the Suns and the Spurs was one of those times. Specifically, the fourth quarter. Indeed, who would have guessed that in a pivotal game that all but decided the series, Phoenix would vanquish San Antonio thanks to the herculean efforts of...Goran Dragic? And that Steve Nash, Amar’e Stoudemire and Jason Richardson wouldn’t leave the bench (at least until the outcome was already decided)? Weird, wild stuff.

    Even SB Nation’s Bright Side of the Sun -- long time proponents of the second-year Slovenian -- was more or less slack-jawed after Dragic’s virtuoso fourth quarter:

    “I don’t know how many guys in the history of the game have had a quarter like that,” Nash said of Dragic’s performance. “I’m incredibly proud of him. We’ve been waiting for him to get confidence and in the flow of the game. Obviously he had that tonight. It was a pleasure to watch.”

    Dragic, who scored a combined four points in the first two games of the series, opened the fourth quarter scoring with a jumper to give the visitors their first lead of the game, 73-72.
